CHELSEA Clinton’s fiance has finally put a ring on it!
The former first daughter — who announced in November that she promised herself to Marc Mezvinsky – flashed her impressive diamond engagement ring for the first time Sunday at the opening night of Broadway’s Promises, Promises.
Chelsea, 30, arrived at the musical on crutches having broken her heel earlier this month. She’s expected to shed her cast in time for her nuptials this summer.
The bride-to-be’s mom, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, has previously insisted her daughter’s big day will be an intimate affair.
“It will be a private affair,” she told CNN in December. “It will be for [Chelsea's] close friends and that’s the way it should be.”
Mezvinsky, 32, is the son of former congressmen Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky of Pennsylvania and Ed Mezvinsky of Iowa.
Previous reports have claimed Chelsea will bag a whopping $10 million from Marc if he cheats on her during their marriage.
“Chelsea’s world was shattered when she learned that her father had been unfaithful to her mom. She’s never forgotten that pain and disappointment,” a source said last month.
