Honestly speaking that Angelina Jolie's publicist says the U.S. actress won't be playing doomed screen icon Marilyn Monroe, contrary to reports saying she will.
UsMagazine.com quoted author Andrew O'Hagan as saying earlier this week Jolie is attached to portray Monroe in the movie version of his novel, "The Life and Opinions of Maf the Dog."
But both the actress and her publicist have subsequently said she has no plans to star in the movie.
"Angelina is not attached to this project," Jolie's representative told the Los Angeles Times.
"This is a new rumor," UsMagazine.com said Jolie told reporters at the "Salt" premiere in London Monday. "It sounds very nice -- I just haven't got the phone call yet. You guys will probably know before I do."
