Adam Sandler - Salma Hayek - newest film Grown Ups

Salma Valgarma Hayek Jiménez-Pinault born September 2, 1966 is a Mexican actress, television director, and television and film producer. Hayek is the first Mexican national to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress. She is one of the most prominent Mexican figures in Hollywood since silent film actress Dolores del Río. She is also, after Fernanda Montenegro, the second of three Latin American actresses (the other being Catalina Sandino Moreno) to achieve a Best Actress Oscar nomination.

Adam Sandler's newest film Grown Ups is his funniest yet and adds that it has a "great heart" told by Salma Hayek

"The film is absolutely hilarious," she said at the recent New York premiere for the movie, which is set to be released on Friday. "It really, really really is very funny. But you know that because all of his movies are funny, although I think this one is the funniest."

"But on top of it, it has a great heart, not in a mushy way, but it has a great heart. And it's about family and it's about friendship and it's about growing up," she said in an interview released by Columbia Pictures.

Sandler co-wrote, co-produced and stars in the movie. His fellow Saturday Night Live alumni David Spade and Chris Rock and Rob Schneider reunite in the film, which also stars Kevin James and Maria Bello.

"I just wanted to make a movie about guys who knew each other as kids and now they're older and have families and how their relationship with the boys kind of stays the same no matter what," Sandler said. "My character's grown up with money and he sees his kids have become spoiled and these guys are all normal, living their lives where they grew up and my character's excited to have his kids kind of see that."
