Keisuke Honda [圭佑 本田], the left midfielder of the dutch team VVV Venlo [Erste Divisie] and of the Japan national team [1/0].

Born the 13th September 1986 in Settsu (Osaka, Japan), the young Honda started his professional career in 2005 with Nagoya Grampus Eight [名古屋グランパスエイト], after have been chosen as "Designated Player for Development by J. League and JFA".

For his first season, the japanese international at youth category has early become a key player of Nagoya, by playing 32 games and scored two goal with a first against Tokyo Verdy 1969. He played for the Grampus during two another years, while continuing to shine with national youth team. On January 2008, he has a successfull trial with dutch and Eredivisie side VVV Venlo. He played a great half season but but he could not prevent his team from relegation. After a good olympic tournament by him, despite the defeat in the first round of Japan, he finally decide to stay in Venlo for to get the promotion in the first league. Since this season, Honda is probably the best player of his team by scoring a lot of goals and gave some assist. Some teams of Eredivisie said an interess about him but he declared that his priority of the moment is VVV Venlo.
A very talented player with an amazing left foot, i think he is in the good way for do something good in Europe.
